DIY Dance Floor Lights for Weddings

- LED flat-bottomed lights
- Double-sided tape
- Christmas lights
- Electrical tape

Line the edges of the dance floor with flat-bottomed LED lights. This highlights the dance floor for guests and makes it pop, which can attract more dancers. Use double-sided tape to adhere the lights to the floor if necessary.

Line strands of Christmas lights around the perimeter of the dance floor, in lieu of LED lights. Keep the strands in place by securing the wire to the ground with electrical tape. Match the color of the electrical tape to the ground or wires, to help it blend in.

Hang paper lanterns from the ceiling above the dance floor using fishing line. Use lanterns of varying sizes, and hang them at different heights to create a whimsical visual of light.

Plug in one or a few strobe lights and position them at the corners of the dance floor. This gives the dance floor a nightclub vibe.
