Step 1
Think about what a young boy enjoys. Action figures, stuffed animals, Nerf toys, crayons, coloring books and read-along tapes would all make good stocking stuffers.

Step 2
Choose things he can learn with, such as a hand puppet, battery-operated games, nesting boxes, magnetic letters and numbers, play food and money, and Legos.

Consider bath markers, bubble bath or fun wind-up bath toys.

Look for things that are fun - a Slinky, small cans of Play-Doh, finger paints, bubbles or some stickers.

Find some cool puzzles, a fun drinking straw, beginner's tools or Beanie Babies.

Look for age-appropriate trucks, cars, planes, trains and boats.

on 11/22/2005 Think of toys your youngster likes to play with when he is at day care. Find out what interests him the most. Videos, books, puzzles, bath toys, and magnets - these are all things in one way or another your little one can learn from and still have fun.
