on 12/16/2005 My kids love books, and the little ones that have the hard cardboard pages fit perfectly in the stocking and are very durable!

on 1/5/2006 If your little one likes to help you cook, include a small jar with premixed ingredients (dry) for pancakes. When all of the presents are opened, all you have to do is add the wet ingredients, and you have almost instant pancakes!
For fun colors and flavors, you can add jam or marmalade when adding in wet ingredients! Or in the jar with dry ingredients, add chocolate chips or raisins!

on 12/8/2005 Give yourself a treat for your preschooler with their favorite character in a toothbrush -- they will want to brush their teeth after all those holiday treats!

on 11/22/2005 One should not put a child's name on his or her jacket, bike, or any other personal item that will be seen by strangers. Predators can call the child by name and the child will think the predator knows them.

on 11/22/2005 Most toddlers love the fruit snacks that are sold in small "individual serving" packages. As an alternative to candy, add a couple of packages of the fruit snacks to your little one's stocking.
