  • Christmas Tree Ornaments
  • Christmas Trees
  • Small Candles
  • Paprika
  • Vegetables
  • Colored Chalk

Step1
Light and place "diya," small candles, throughout your house.
Step2
Create floor decorations with brightly colored powders and chalks. Turmeric powder, paprika and flour can be used to create traditional Christmas symbols such as angels and stars.
Step3
If available, display mango leaves throughout your home during the holiday in place of pine sprigs and holly wreaths.
Step4
Prepare traditional Indian dishes for friends and family. For example, you might serve tandoori, biryani and curry dishes as a main course and rice pudding for dessert.
Step5
Dress in festive, traditional Indian clothing to perform Christmas music played on a stringed sitar, drums and cymbals.
