  • Fisher-Price Power Change Drill 'n' Drivers
  • Fisher-Price Power Change Tool Belts
  • Fisher-Price Power Change Workshops
  • chocolate tools
  1. Step 1

Know that Fisher-Price has a line of Power Change tools perfect for children between three and seven years of age. The line is designed to have a realistic look and sound.

  2. Step 2

Know that the Power Change Workshop has won many awards, including the Sesame Street Parents Magazine Award.

  3. Step 3

Look at the Power Change Workshop and the tool accessories available.

  4. Step 4

Notice that the Power Change Workshop is very reasonably priced at around $15. The other tools are $10 or less.

  5. Step 5

See that the Power Change Workshop is a manageable size and will fit easily on a small table. It folds down into a toolbox for convenient storage.

  6. Step 6

Be aware that the workshop includes a workshop countertop, a saw that makes motor and sawing sounds, a hammer and nails, a wrench, a screwdriver and a vise. All of the tools fit inside the toolbox when the workshop is closed.

  7. Step 7

Consider purchasing some additional tools. The Power Change Tool Belt contains a hammer, a saw, a screwdriver, pliers, a tape measure and nails. The tool belt can be adjusted to fit the child. The Power Change 2-in-1 Saw includes a power-sounds saw and pretend wood. The Power Change Drill 'n' Driver is a combination power drill and screwdriver with realistic sounds.

  8. Step 8

Recognize that all of these tools require batteries.

  9. Step 9

Purchase one item or the entire set from the shopping list below, at an online store or at your local toy store.

Tips & Warnings
  • These tools are nice even if the child you are buying for already has another workbench or tools from another company. The child will appreciate the realistic noises.
  • Consider wrapping all of the items together in a big box. Tie one of the tools on top instead of using a bow. To make the gift extra special, consider adding a set of chocolate tools available at local chocolate shops or from the shopping list below.
