How to Outfit a Livestock Grooming Box

• Rubber Boots
• Waterproof Rain Gears
• Animal Health Supplies
• Animal Water Buckets
• Garden Shears
• Heavy-duty Plastic Boxes
• Pet Collars
• Adhesive Bandages
• Blow Dryers
• Nail Clippers
• Pet Shampoo
• Small Animal Clippers
• Grooming Brush
• Horse Shampoo
• Locks
• Rasps
• Wire Cutters

1. Use a large, heavy-duty plastic box. A hinged lid with a latch that allows use of a lock is the best.
2. Add bathing supplies for your animal - shampoo, cleaner, brush, comb, dryer, clippers, scissors, toenail clippers, rasp, hoof pick, hair spray, clipper oil.
3. Include extras such as costume, glitter, markers and a sign with your name and club name.
4. Pack show equipment - stick, collar, leash.
5. Add rain suit and rubber boots to keep you dry during bathing.
6. Include feeding equipment - dishes, bowls, buckets, feed pans.
7. Remember an emergency kit - "stop bleed" for nicks, Band-Aids, vet wrap.

• Design your box to fit your needs. Store equipment in the box, and you will always be ready to go.
• Keep box locked when not in use.
