This dish is quirky, but a classic. Have it when your mother comes over - perhaps she made it for you. Serves four to six.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Aluminum Foil
  • Chef's Knives
  • Baking Dishes
  • Cutting Boards
  • Tenderizing Mallet
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 12 oz. package frozen green beans
  • 4 baking potatoes - peeled and diced
  • 4 breasts of chicken pounded to an even thickness

Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step2
Put the chicken in the center of a baking dish. You will need to stack it in layers.
Step3
Put the potatoes on one side of the chicken; put the beans on the other.
Step4
Pour the butter over the chicken, beans and potatoes.
Step5
Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Remove foil, stir the potatoes and then bake a little longer, uncovered, until the potatoes are golden brown.

Tips & Warnings

  • The beauty of this dish is that the amount of chicken and potatoes you use is flexible. Feel free to use more or less chicken, or more or fewer potatoes.
