The essence of my program, which can reverse heart disease, lower weight and improve your overall health, is a plant-based diet consisting of whole foods. Check it out and see if it's right for you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Prepare yourself to make big changes right away in your diet and lifestyle and then enjoy rapid results such as increased energy, weight loss and an improved sense of well-being.

  2. Step 2

Understand that studies I have conducted show that coronary artery disease can often be reversed by following a low-fat vegetarian diet, along with other lifestyle changes.

  3. Step 3

Know that it is possible to reduce or get off cholesterol-lowering medication or heart medication if you change your lifestyle. However, you should only do so with the supervision and recommendation of your physician.

  4. Step 4

Have no fear of hunger - on my plant-based, whole-foods diet, you will take in fewer calories and lose weight while eating as much as you like.

  5. Step 5

Realize that high cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking and lack of exercise are not the only factors that contribute to heart problems.

  6. Step 6

Get intimate. People who are lonely and depressed are three to five times more likely to get sick or die prematurely than those who have strong intimate ties with others.

  7. Step 7

Be aware that making simple lifestyle changes such as applying regular stress management techniques will help quiet your mind and body, helping you to discover your inner peace and well-being.

  8. Step 8

Exercising daily for at least 30 minutes at a time, even if it's just walking, will have an overall impact on your weight, your health and your overall well-being.

Tips & Warnings
  • Participating in support groups is very important if you are grappling with heart disease or other life issues.
  • Quitting smoking is essential to reverse the effects of heart disease and improve your overall health. Nicotine will constrict your arteries and can cause your blood to clot.
