on 5/16/2008 i have been told by a hairdresser that if one tries to comb tangles out while still wet, more hair will come out than is really necessary, hence best to do it while dry. i agree though that it seems easier when the hair is wet but for those BIG knots that kids seem to grow, combing them out dry is probably safer.

on 12/20/2006 Water is good - Pretty in Pink is right on. Wet combing or brushing is much better than dry. I use The Mixed Chicks deep conditioner and comb in the shower.
