Soak the copper item you wish to polish in silver dip for about 30 minutes. The tarnish should come off and your copper item will come out looking shiny and new. -

All you have to do to clean copper is: Put a lot of fine salt (TABLE SALT) in a container or cup, then put just a little water in there, and put enough vineger (APPLE VINEGER WORKS BEST) to be about two centimeters above the pile of salt, next take a dirty copper object, such as a penny, and bury in the salt, and let it set for five min. then after five min. take a spoon and mix the copper object around. Take it out, wash it off with water, and the copper should be shiny again. Put a lot of fine salt (table salt) in a container or cup, then add just a little water.
