How Do I Upload a Music Recording to Facebook?
Facebook is a social networking site that allows musicians to connect directly to fans. Though a band can set up a Facebook fan page, music cannot be uploaded directly to Facebook. Instead one must upload to an external site and share the link with friends. Your friends can then share the link with anyone on their Facebook feed as well. A new feature on Facebook allows you to share a button to play the mp3 as well as name the file accordingly.

Upload your mp3 to a file hosting website. Copy the link that accesses the file.

Log into your Facebook account with your user email and password. Click the box that reads "What's On Your Mind." Paste the code here.

Type the name of the song and artist when prompted. When completed, click "share" and the mp3 will appear on your wall and in your friend's feeds to listen to.
