How to Install a Wig Wag
Wig wagging is the automated flashing of your headlights on and off, from left to right, just as police cars do when pulling someone over. This car modification costs almost nothing, but requires an understanding of electronics and single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relays. If you feel comfortable with that technology, you can make this modification to your head lights to create a wild lighting effect for your vehicle.

1
Locate the white wire in the wiring harness. Cut the wire, then tape the end that leads to the headlights. Connect the end that leads to the battery to both of the double-pole double-throw (DPDT) switches' center terminals.
-
2
Cut the white wires leading to the headlights. Tape those ends that lead back to the battery.

-
3
Take the ends of the cut white wires that lead into the headlamps and connect them to the new green wires.
-
4
Connect the blue wire from the DPDT's left contact to the flasher's "In" connection. Also connect that wire to Pin 30 or from the flasher to the SPDT relay.
-
5
Connect one of the green independent wires from the DPDT's right contacts to the left headlight and the other wire to the right headlight.

Tips & Warnings
If you would like your high beams to wig wag, switch the stock white wire with stock yellow wire. Cut only the yellow wire and leave the white wire untouched.
If you are modifying your headlights to wig wag on a nonemergency vehicle, it is illegal to use them on the road; they may be used off-road only.
