How to Make Cleaners at Home to Wash Walls and Woodwork
A dusty home is not only unattractive, but it also can aggravate allergies in many individuals. You don't have to spend a lot of money on harsh cleaners from the store to get your walls and woodwork clean. You can make your own cleaners at home, using safe, inexpensive ingredients. Soap Cleaner

Pour 1 gallon of warm water into a bucket.

Add 1 tbsp. liquid dish soap and 2 tbsp. lemon juice to the water. Stir to mix.

Dip a sponge or clean cloth into the solution.

Wring out the sponge or cloth, and use it to clean your woodwork and walls.
Vinegar Cleaner

Pour 1 gallon of warm water into a bucket.

Add 2 cups of white vinegar to the water, and stir to mix.

Dip a cloth or sponge into the solution and wring it out.

Wipe down walls and woodwork with the sponge or cloth.

Tips & Warnings
Dip a cotton swab into the cleaning solution if you need to clean small crevices in woodwork.
Keep your cloth or sponge well wrung out. Too much moisture can damage wood and some paint finishes.
