1
Reboot the computer before troubleshooting the modem. Rebooting the computer will sometimes fix the most common problems with connectivity.
-
2
Pull the A600 out of the computer's USB port and re-insert it into the USB port if the LED indicator is not lighting up. This will re-initiate the A600 into the computer and restart the signal process.

3
Click on the "A600" link to download the software to your computer (see "Resources"). Follow the installation instructions on the screen to reinstall the software. This will replace the old software.
-
4
Check the signal strength on the indicator LED. This is located on the front of the modem and is labeled "Signal." If there is no signal, the modem will not connect to the Internet.
-
5
Move the computer to a place where you get better signal. If you are using a laptop, this is fairly simple. If you are using a desktop, you might need to move the entire system. Choose a place where there is little metal. Metal beams in the wall or appliances can drain signal strength.

6
Make sure the modem is activated. Go to the "My Cricket" website and log in with your customer information. Enter the serial number of your A600 modem into the website to activate it under your account.
