How to Sell Things in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas"
In "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," you take control of a character named "CJ," who returns home after finding out his mother was murdered. The open-ended nature of the game allows you to not only follow the story and complete missions, but also explore the massive game world. Completing missions is your primary means of income in the game, but you are also able to burglarize houses and sell the things you steal. Stolen items are the only things you can sell in the game.

Play the game, and look for a black van called the "Boxville." These vehicles always spawn at three different locations throughout the game. You'll find one in Los Santos directly opposite the gym, near the driving school in San Fierro and in the Pilgrim Suburb of Las Venturas.

Get in the van by pressing the "F" button on the PC version, the "Y" button for Xbox or the "Triangle" button for PS2. Wait for the clock in the game to read 8 p.m. (20:00), and then press the "2" button, for the PC version, to start the burglary sub-missions. Or press down the right analog stick for Xbox or PS2.

Drive around, and look for buildings that have a yellow "entry" marker in front of the doors. This indicates you can break into these buildings and steal things.

Slowly walk through the house you have entered, and avoid making any noises that will alert the occupants. If they spot you, exit the building within 10 seconds to avoid a "wanted" rating. Hold down the "Alt" button while walking, on the PC version, to make your character sneak. For consoles, gently push forward on the left analog stick to sneak around.

Stand in front of the item you want to steal, and press the "F" -- on the PC version -- to pick it up. For PS2, use the "Triangle" button. On Xbox, use "Y." You will be able to steal items such as televisions, consoles, stereos and fax machines. Walk back to the van with the item you have stolen, then press the button you used to pick it up to deposit it in the van. The game will tell you to find another house to burgle or to drive to the lockup. Repeat the process as many times as you want, but be aware that you only have until 6 a.m. (game time) to complete your robberies.

Drive to the lockup location displayed on your game map -- shown on the bottom-left of the screen -- once you are satisfied with the number of items you have stolen. Follow the map and drive into the garage when you reach the lockup. Once you have parked the vehicle in the garage, you will automatically sell all the items you have stolen.
