How to Buy Facebook Ads
Facebook is the world's largest social network. As such, it offers advertisers access to a large number of people who may be interested in their products and services. An added advantage is that you can advertise to specific demographics and you can set your advertising budget as large or as small as you want.

Visit the main Facebook page and click "Advertising" at the bottom of the screen.

Click on the button labeled "Create an Ad."

Select what you want to advertise from the drop down menu labeled "destination." You can choose to advertise a Facebook page, a Facebook application or an external website.

Click "Facebook Ad" under the choice of "Type."

Enter the destination URL in the URL box if you are using an external website as your destination.

Write a title for your ad if you are using an external URL; if you are using an application or page, the title is automatically the same as the application or page. Do not use all caps or multiple exclamation marks, or Facebook will remove your ad.

Write your ad in the "body" section. Use the 135 character limit to call the viewers to action, for example by telling them to visit your website.

Upload an image related to your ad by clicking the "Upload" button.

Select the demographic that you would like to target in the "Targeting" section. You can target people based on their location, age and interests.

Select your preferred billing currency from the drop-down menu.

Select a daily or lifetime budget for your campaign. This is the maximum amount of money that you are willing to spend on your ads.

Click "Advanced pricing options" and enter the amount of money that you want to pay for your ads. You can pay per impression or per click. Facebook will provide a default, suggested amount based on its algorithm intended to optimize your ads if you do not set the prices yourself.

Click "Review Ad" to see a preview of your ad.

Click "Place Order" and select your payment option. You can pay using Visa, MasterCard or PayPal.
