How to Tell If a Report Went Through on Facebook
Knowing that your report has gone through on Facebook can put your mind at ease that Facebook staff are working to rectify a problem of which you notified them. Facebook allows to report violations of its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, including inappropriate content others post, harassing messages others send you and profiles that are fake altogether. Although there isn't a tracking system in place to monitor the status of a report, there are ways of making sure it went through.

1
Check your email regularly for correspondence from Facebook. If Facebook moves forward in investigating a report of an issue that directly involves you -- someone has been harassing you, for example -- they contact you directly to let you know the outcome or, if necessary, to get more information.
-
2
Monitor the profile of the person you reported to see if it changes. If Facebook finds that the person's actions violated its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, it may disable the person's access to Facebook, which causes clicking his profile to produce an error.

3
Read over Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities to make sure the violation you reported was in fact a violation of the site's terms. If you reported something that, however annoying or obnoxious, didn't violate Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, the investigative team doesn't take any action.
-
4
Make the report again if several weeks have passed without communication from Facebook or a change in the user's posting or messaging habits -- and if you're sure these habits violate Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. It's possible that the original report got lost or found its way into the hands of someone irresponsible. Include a note with the report requesting to be contacted if possible when someone receives the report.
