How to Add RSS to Tumblr
The Tumblr service combines blogging with social networking by allowing users to upload and share images, video and other online content. One way to add news and information to your Tumblr blog is to import a Really Simple Syndication, or RSS, news feed which includes headlines, summaries, posts and images from an external website. When you add an RSS feed to Tumblr, each feed item displays as a new post on your Tumblr blog.

Log in to your Tumblr account. This automatically opens your Tumblr Dashboard page.

Click the "Customize" tab in the right-hand navigation menu. Click the "Services" tab in the top menu.

Click the downward-arrow button beneath the "Automatically Import My" heading. Select "RSS Feed" from the drop-down list.

Type the URL address for your RSS feed into the "Feed URL" input box and click the "Start Importing This Feed" button. Click the "Save and Close" button in the main menu bar. This adds the RSS feed to your Tumblr blog.

Find RSS feeds for your Tumblr blog by going to a relevant website and copying the feed address from the "RSS" or "Feeds" section. Some websites and online news services display an orange "RSS" button that you can click to copy the RSS feed address.
