How to Delete Write Protected Bearshare Installation
BearShare is a peer-to-peer software program used for sharing files with other users on a network. The BearShare software also includes third-party browser extensions, which are installed with BearShare. If you try to delete BearShare, you may receive a Write Protected error. This is because this application will often load and connect to its networks during computer startup. In addition, the browser extensions have their own resource files that load in to memory. Remove BearShare and all accompanied software by booting in Windows Safe Mode.
