"Angry Birds" has inspired a plush toy line and movie-themed sequel.

"Angry Birds" is a casual game by Rovio that focuses on a group of very angry birds attempting to retrieve the eggs that were stolen from them. Some versions of the game feature a number of achievements that can be earned by players. One of these achievements is the "Wilhelm Tell" achievement, requiring you to hit one of your birds in flight with another bird before either of the birds touch the ground or any other solid object.

Instructions

    • 1

Check the birds that are lined up next to your slingshot. Blue birds are light and split into three birds in the air, so attempt to perform the achievement on a stage where there are at least two blue birds in a row.

    • 2

Load your first blue bird into the slingshot, pulling the slingshot down to aim it straight up in the air. Release the slingshot to fire the bird, splitting it into three pieces soon after release by clicking the mouse button or tapping the screen.

    • 3

Load your second blue bird, pulling the slingshot to aim it at one of the three birds that you split previously. Aim quickly and release to intercept the bird before it hits the ground or any structure.

    • 4

Restart the level and try again if you miss the falling bird.

Tips & Warnings

  • Split the second blue bird to increase the likelihood of it hitting the bird you've aimed it at. Wait until the birds are close to each other to split it so that all of the new birds are near the falling bird you're aiming for.

  • The "Wilhelm Tell" achievement sometimes takes a few minutes to register with the game. Do not be alarmed if the achievement doesn't appear right away when you succeed in hitting one bird with another bird.
