How to Go to a Hospital in IMVU

The chatting application IMVU allows its users to create different types of virtual environments using 3-D modeling software and to turn the environments into public chat rooms for the enjoyment of all IMVU members. Some of the chat environments you can find on IMVU include hotels, casinos and hospitals. Hospital environments allow you to role-play certain scenarios such as sickness and childbirth with your IMVU avatar. Use the keyword "hospital" when searching for IMVU chat rooms to locate and enter a hospital environment.

Instructions

1. Launch the IMVU software. Enter your user name or email address and password to log in and display the main menu.

2. Click the "Chat Rooms" button in the center of the menu.

3. Click the "Search" tab in the upper-left corner of the screen, and then click the search field below. Type "Hospital" in the field and press "Enter." To narrow the search, include additional keywords such as "Family" and "Maternity." As of August 2011, the keyword "Hospital" yields 28 pages of chat rooms.

4. Click the numbers next to "Showing page" in the upper-right corner of the screen to scroll through the pages of search results.

5. Click the yellow "Go" button under the name of a hospital chat room to enter the room.
