How to Automatically Post on Facebook

Use your blog's RSS feed to post automatically to Facebook.

Facebook is one of many social networking tools you can use to keep in touch with friends, family and business associates -- but keeping your blog, Twitter and Facebook accounts updated can be time-consuming and tedious. When you automate the process, your blog's RSS feed and your tweets from Twitter will automatically be added to your Facebook notes page. This will save you time because you will not constantly have to update your Facebook page each time that you create a new blog post or tweet.

Instructions

Blog Posts

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Click on the "Apps" link on the left side of your screen.

3. Click on the "Notes" link under the "Apps" heading.

4. Click on the "Import a blog" link that appears on the right side of the page.

5. Enter your RSS feed's entire URL in the text box.

6. Agree to the terms by checking the box below the URL's text box and click on the "Start Importing" button.

7. Review the imported content and click on the "Confirm Import" button. Your blog posts will begin to import and will appear in the "Notes" section.

Twitter

1. Log in to your Facebook account.

2. Visit the Twitter app's Facebook page on facebook.com.

3. Click on the "Add to My Page" link on the left side of the screen.

4. Click on the "Add to My Page" button next to the name of the page you want to use the Twitter app. Click on the "Close" button.

5. Click on the "Go to App" button at the top of the page.

6. Click on the "Sign in with Twitter" button.

7. Enter your Twitter username and password. Click "Allow."

8. Click on the box next to the name of your Facebook profile or page that you want tweets posted to the place that you want your tweets posted to and click on the "Allow" button. New tweets will automatically appear in your news feed on Facebook.
