      Open a separate tab and navigate to your preferred URL shortening service. Type the TweetDeck URL in the URL shortener website and click "OK" to generate a small URL for the tweet. For instance, if you use the goo.gl site, type the TweetDeck URL in the "Paste your long URL here" text box and click "Shorten." The form returns with a shortened link to the TweetDeck site.
