How to Make Hair Thinner After Shaving
After shaving an area of the body the hair will grow back, sometimes even thicker than before. To thin this hair out, you must either shrink or remove the root of the hair. Removal can be done with a waxing method, although it may only damage the follicle and not completely destroy it. The hair will grow back in anywhere from two to eight weeks, but it will be thinner. An electrolysis method or zapping the hair follicle with a laser are far more effective methods for total elimination of the hair. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings
Waxing is the most effective way to thin hair on the arms and legs. It also works in the pubic region.
For people with sensitive skin, a cold wax treatment is recommended. In this method, a strip with wax is placed on the skin and rubbed to create friction heat. It then can be removed with less trauma to the skin.
