How to Weave Rayon
Rayon, also known as artificial silk, is a manufactured material made from purified cellulose. Weaving is the process of interlacing rope or fabric to create a woven pattern. Weave strips of rayon using an under-and-over weaving technique, which is also known as pin-weaving. Use woven rayon to create cushions, place mats and quilts. Experiment with different color strips of rayon to create a unique woven item that complements your home decor and personal style.

Pick up another strip and rotate it so it is horizontal. Position this strip above the previous horizontal strip, but weave it under the center of the left strip, over the middle strip and under the center of the right vertical strip.
