How to Make Google Chrome Open With Permanently Pinned Tabs on a Mac

In older versions of Google Chrome, one had to hack the core code to permanently pin tabs. Fortunately, this is no longer the case. You can now permanently pin tabs without making major modifications to the Google Chrome browser. The process is applicable to Google Chrome on Mac systems, as well as Windows PCs.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open the Google Chrome browser.

    • 2

Open the tabs you want to pin permanently.

    • 3

Right-click on the tab you want to pin first. Select "Pin Tab."

    • 4

Repeat the process for each tab you want to pin permanently.

    • 5

Right-click on a pinned tab and select "Unpin Tab" if you want to remove it.
