How to Do the Dancing Triangle Friendship Bracelet Starting from the Right
Friendship bracelets are a way of showing a commitment to a friendship. You make a friendship bracelet to give to a close friend in a move which shows a lot more thought than simply buying a bracelet You can make a friendship bracelet with a dancing triangle design, with the triangle design alternating between being upright and then inverted, by weaving and knotting two different colors of thread together.

1
Cut two colored pieces of embroidery thread 60 inches long. Fold the thread in half over your finger. Pull one end away from your finger about 6 inches.
-
2
Make a loop in the threads above your finger. Feed the loose ends of the threads through the loop and pull it tight to create an overhand knot. Attach the knot to a safety pin. Attach the safety pin to your pants, to provide an anchor.

-
3
Arrange the strings in front of the loop from left to right: Long string of color one (L1), short string of color one (S1), short string of color two (S2) and long string of color two (L2).
-
4
Take L1. Pass it under the S1 string and bring it back over and into the created loop. Pull the knot tight to create a forward knot. Make another forward knot with L1 on S1. Make two forward knots with L1 on S2. Make one forward knot with L1 on L2. Make a loop with the body of L1 on the far side of L2. Feed the end of L1 under L2 and up through the loop. Pull it tight to make a backward knot. L1 is now positioned second from the right in the row of strings.
-
5
Tie one forward knot and one backward knot with S1 on S2. Make two backward knots with L1 on S2. Make two backward knots with L1 on S1. L1 is now on the far left.
-
6
Make two backward knots with L2 on S2. Tie two backward knots with L2 on S1. Tie one backward knot followed by one forward knot with L2 on L1. L2 is now positioned second from the left.
-
7
Make a backward knot followed by a forward knot with S2 on S1. Tie two forward knots with L2 on S1, followed by two more forward knots with L2 on S2. L2 is now back on the right-hand side. Repeat Steps 4 to 7 until the bracelet is long enough.
-
8
Make a loop in the end of the bracelet with the loose thread. Tie an overhand knot in the bracelet to secure it in place. Remove the safety pin from your pants and the bracelet.
