How to Troubleshoot the R7184P

Check the wiring to the unit if there is a lack of power. Ensure the breaker has not tripped. Reset it, if necessary.

Visually inspect the pipes to the oil tank to ensure they are securely connected and show no signs of structural damage.

Fix the inconsistent running of the unit by cleaning the oil nozzle as a blockage can cause the Honeywell R7184P to cut out or fail to run properly.

Look for a slowly flashing indicator light. This means the R7184P has locked into "safety" mode. Reset the oil primary control by pressing in and releasing the red "Reset" button.
