How to Beat "At Home With Dutch" on "Red Dead Redemption"
In "Red Dead Redemption," the United States government orders John Marston to find and kill three of his former gang leaders in exchange for freedom from prison. In the "At Home with Dutch" mission, a man named Professor MacDougal learns Dutch's location. Dutch is the strongest and most feared member of Marston's old gang. Marston and Professor MacDougal must ride to Dutch's hideout with a Native American, Nastas, as their guide. Dutch surrounds himself with gang members for protection, but few can withstand a bullet from Marston's rifle.

Exit Professor MacDougal's office when the mission starts. Get on one of the three horses that wait for you outside. MacDougal and Nastas climb on the other two horses.

Follow the men on the trail to the Great Plains. The trail leads you to a snowy, mountainous area. When you cannot travel further on horseback, get off the horse and start to climb the mountain.

Kill off any gang members that assault you as you climb the mountain. Head to the spot marked on the map to meet up with Nastas. Continue climbing the mountain and enter the tunnel at the end of the path.

Run out of the tunnel when gang members wheel an explosives-filled mine cart toward you. When you get to the tunnel exit, kill the waiting gang members.

Run straight ahead and climb up the snowy mountain. When you climb a few ledges, you see a bear in the distance. Shoot the bear with a rifle before it spots you. If the bear sees you and gets close, circle around it and shoot it with the shotgun.

Keep climbing until you see a mountain lion. Kill the lion in the same way as the bear. Follow the trail a bit further. At the end of the trail, you reach a campfire and a guard.

Lasso and hogtie the guard before he sees you and alerts the gang. Pick up the guard's binoculars.

Scan the campsite with the binoculars until you find Dutch. Dutch spots you and fires his gun at you. This knocks you unconscious. You awaken in MacDougal's office, and the mission ends.
