How to Make a Wipe Solution to Put in a Wipe Warmer

A wipe warmer is an appliance that warms baby wipes to help a baby feel more comfortable when he's being cleaned. If you prefer to mix your own wipes solution for cloth baby wipes, you don't need to use a special formula for wipes that are stored in a warmer. The recipe explained here includes a soothing lavender scent to help your child relax. The wipes will also release a pleasant smell when the warmer is opened.

Things You'll Need

• 2 cups water
• Large bowl
• 1/2 cup unscented baby oil of your choice
• 1/2 cup unscented baby wash of your choice
• 2 or 3 drops of lavender essential oil
• Spoon
• Clean cloth baby wipes

Instructions

1. Pour 2 cups of water into a large bowl.

2. Add 1/2 cup of unscented baby oil of your choice.

3. Add 1/2 cup of unscented baby wash of your choice.

4. Add two or three drops of lavender essential oil.

5. Gently stir the solution with a spoon to blend the ingredients.

6. Dunk a clean cloth wipe into the solution and gently squeeze any excess liquid from it. Place the wipe in the wipe warmer. Repeat as necessary for all of the cloth wipes that will be stored in the wipe warmer.
