Super Glue is a great product that bonds things together. It can also be quite messy to use. It is not uncommon to get Super Glue on your jeans when working with the product. It is possible to get Super Glue out of jeans if you follow the proper measures. Never dry the jeans in a dryer prior to removing the Super Glue stain. This will only set the stain in and make it harder to remove.
Step 1
Allow the Super Glue to dry on the jeans prior to attempting to remove it. If you try to get the glue out while it is still wet, you will only spread the glue around on the jeans and make more of a mess.

Step 2
Dampen a paper towel with acetone nail polish remover. Test the acetone in an inconspicuous area on the jeans to be sure that it will not damage the fabric.
Step 3
Blot the super glue stain with the acetone-soaked paper towel. Hold the paper towel on the glue spot for about a minute.
Step 4
Use a toothbrush to scrub the super glue spot until the glue begins to flake off. You may have to blot with acetone and scrub with a toothbrush a few times as the glue comes off in layers.
Step 5
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 if the super glue has soaked through the other side of the jeans as well.
Step 6
Rub the glue spot with an emery board or fine-grit sandpaper if the super glue spot remains on the jeans. Rub gently so that you do not tear the fabric.
Step 7
Drip two or three drops of laundry soap onto the area of the jeans where the glue residue remains. Work the laundry detergent into the jeans with your thumb and forefinger.
Step 8
Wash the jeans in the washer according to the labels washing instructions. When the wash cycle is done, check the jeans thoroughly to be sure the stain is gone. If the super glue stain is still in the jeans, do not put them in the dryer.
Step 9
Blot a tiny bit of lighter fluid onto the jeans if the super glue stain is still there. Use a toothbrush to scrub the spot. Wash the jeans again in the washing machine.
