How to Create a Table of Contents in Avery
Avery is a manufacturing company that offers a number of different labels and products you can use for your personal or business needs. One area of Avery products is divider tabs with a table of contents. You can create your table of contents and tabs on the Avery website with one of its pre-designed templates. The templates offer a number of different graphic and font options. Once you design your product, you can print it right from home.

Go to Avery's website (see Resources).

Click "Templates & Software" from the menu at the top and select "Design & Print Online."

Click "Start Now."

Enter your name, email and country in the appropriate fields and select whether or not to receive emails from Avery, then click "Submit" if you haven't used the "Design & Print" feature before.

Enter the product number of your Avery product in the "Find Product Number or Description" box at the top and hit "Enter." The product number is normally found on the outside of the packaging.

Click on your product when it appears and hit "Next."

Select a category from the options at the left and click the label once it appears in the preview pane to the right.

Select "Quick and Simple" or "Enhanced Editing" for your editing option. "Quick and Simple" maintains most of the template settings, you just enter your text and change the graphic if you want. "Enhanced Editing" allows you to change all features of the template.

Click "Next."

Enter the information for your table of contents into each text box. You can also leave the graphic as it is, select one from your computer or select "No Graphic."

Hit "Next" when you're done formatting your information.

Select the font, font size and color you want for your product and click "Next."

Review your finished product and hit "Next" if you are satisfied.

Choose "Print Your Project" or "Save Your Project."
