How to Make a Scrapbook at a Bridal Shower
A bride will cherish the memories of her wedding more than she will the trinkets she receives from her guests. However, when she begins her newlywed life, she will find herself too busy to devote the time she needs to create a scrapbook. The bridal shower is the perfect time for a scrapbook event. Bridal shower guests can help the bride make the wedding scrapbook, before the wedding even takes place.
Things You'll Need
- Wedding scrapbook album
- 20 to 50 blank scrapbook pages
- Wedding-themed stickers and embellishments
- Scrapbook adhesive

1
Ask guests to bring pictures they have of the bride and groom to the bridal shower. The beginning of the wedding scrapbook will include pictures of the couple before the engagement and the wedding.
-
2
Pass out one to two blank scrapbook pages to every guest. Provide wedding-themed scrapbooking stickers and embellishments on every table. Give each guest scrapbook adhesive.

3
Assign each guest a theme for her page. Some guests will decorate pages for pictures of the bride and groom before and after they met. Other guests will decorate pages about the engagement. You should have these pictures ready to put in the scrapbook. The remaining guests will decorate pages for pictures of the wedding itself. These pages will not yet have pictures, but the guests will leave room for multiple pictures on a page. The bride adds the pictures later. Include a page for a wedding invitation and add the invitation if you currently have one.

Add anecdotes, poems and messages of love to each page. Recount memories of the bride and groom. Add romantic verses. Spell out the names of the bride and groom along with the wedding date with scrapbooking alphabet and number stickers.
-
5
Show the pages to the bride. Before you make any arrangement permanent on a page, ask the bride if she likes the arrangement. If so, use the scrapbooking adhesive to stick everything in place.
-
6
Slide the pages into the album. Present the album to the bride. She will add pictures from her wedding later.

Tips & Warnings
Make a bridal shower scrapbook for the bride, too. Task a guest to take pictures of the bride and all of her guests throughout the party. If you have enough people, give a few guests the task of creating a bridal shower scrapbook that's smaller than the wedding scrapbook.
If you have too many other activities planned for the bridal shower, ask each guest to decorate her scrapbook pages ahead of time and bring them to the shower.
Do not use glue to hold together your arrangements unless it is acid-free. Typical glue will warp pictures over time.
