How to Add Text With GIMP
The GNU Image Manipulation Program, or GIMP, offers a powerful graphic editing program in a free, open-source package. Its features rival even the more expensive graphics suites. GIMP's toolbox offers the Text tool, which allows you to enter text and change font, size, color and justification. You may even import a text file directly into GIMP to avoid retyping or copying and pasting the text.
