How to Watch ESPN3 on the EVO

Watch sports highlights on your EVO with the WatchESPN application.

The WatchESPN application gives you access to live streaming video on your HTC EVO. The application is available for free in the Android Market, but requires you to have a separate television or Internet service provider that supports the service to view live video. Bright House Networks, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS are the only supported service providers, as of August 2011. Verizon high-speed Internet customers will also have access to ESPN3, ESPN's online sports programming channel.

Instructions

1. Open your EVO's App Drawer from the Home screen.

2. Tap on the "Market" icon to access the Android Market.

3. Press the "Search" key, designated by a magnifying glass, to open a text box.

4. Type "WatchESPN" in the text box and press the magnifying glass icon next to it to begin a search.

5. Tap on the "WatchESPN" application from the list of results to view its application page.

6. Select "Install" from the upper-right portion of the page to begin downloading the application to your EVO.

7. Tap the "WatchESPN" icon from the App Drawer after installation has been completed.

8. Enter your account information that is associated with a compatible service provider when prompted.

9. Select ESPN3 from the WatchESPN application to begin viewing its content.

Tips & Warnings

• Streaming video to your EVO requires the transfer of data. Be aware of any limitations associated with your service provider's data plan to avoid going over your limit and incurring additional charges.
