Things You'll Need

  • 2 straight brackets
  • Carpenter's pencil
  • 1-inch wood screws

Instructions

    • 1

      Position the straight brackets at the top of each bookshelf, and mark where the screw holes are positioned.

      Remove the brackets, and drill pilot holes directly into the wood. Be careful to not drill completely through the shelf top.

    • 3

      Place the brackets into position, and screw them into place using 1-inch wood screws.
