How to Work in a Dye House
Dye-house employees serve a variety of functions. Typical duties include loading and unloading dyeing machines, mixing and monitoring dye solutions, inspecting machinery and performing maintenance. Dye-house employees must possess strong hand-eye coordination, physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time. These workers generally aren't required to possess an education beyond high school. Most dye-house jobs are available in the Northeast, Southeast and Southwest parts of the country.
