Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your computer and the Elmo.

    • 2

Plug a VGA cable into the "Computer In" port on the back of the Elmo.

    • 3

Plug the other end of the VGA cable into your laptop. VGA ports are about an inch wide, and they feature 15-pin connectors. If your laptop does not have a VGA output port, it is not usable with the Elmo Digital Visual Presenter.

    • 4

Turn on the Elmo and press the "Computer" button to select this input option.

    • 5

Boot up your computer. Your computer should detect the new device and provide you with display options. If no options appear, press and hold the Windows logo key and then hit the "P" key to bring them up manually.

    • 6

Click "Duplicate" on your laptop screen if you want the display image to appear on the laptop and the Elmo simultaneously. Click "Extend" to extend your desktop onto the Elmo, or click "Projector Only" to use the Elmo exclusively. When you unplug the Elmo's VGA cable, your laptop display returns to normal.
