Instructions

    • 1

Fold an 18-inch piece of yarn, twine or embroidery floss 6 inches from one end. Place a piece of tape over the fold and tape it to a table. The shorter side of the yarn is your holding yarn, and the longer side is the yarn you will be working with.

    • 2

Form a knot by placing the working yarn over the holding yarn. Then pass it under the holding yarn and through the loop that you formed. Pull tightly.

    • 3

Continue forming knots until the bracelet is large enough to fit the wearer's wrist. The bracelet will form a natural twist as you are working.

    • 4

Slide a pony bead onto each end, and form a knot at the end to keep it in place.

    • 5

Cut the ends of the yarn with a pair of scissors.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always loop in the same direction as you're knotting.
