How to Promote on CreateSpace
Writing a novel, or making a film or music CD may not be considered a business-oriented task, but most artists get involved with the business aspect of the creative industry when promoting their book, movie or CD, especially if they want it to sell. Createspace.com, a division of Amazon.com, helps artists--who may not have a business or marketing background--publish their work and create a promotional plan that can help put the book, movie or CD in front of an audience.

Know your audience. Before you begin any promotion plan, you need a clear indication of who the audience is. Most likely, your audience is a specific one, so understanding everything you can about them will make promoting your work on CreateSpace much easier. Within the industry, this is referred to as niche marketing.
