How to Get My Linkedin Page Viewed in My Auto-Signature
Outlook 2010 can create an electronic ID to personalize the end of your email messages. Outlook can also insert a hyperlink that opens a Web page for additional information, such as your LinkedIn profile. Adding a career profile to your email signature can help market your skills for future employment. A LinkedIn profile gives your viewers a job summary they read at their convenience. Hyperlink to your LinkedIn profile, and increase your networking power.

Create the Signature in Outlook

Open the Outlook mail program.

Click the "Home" tab on the ribbon.

Click the "New E-mail" button in the "New" group. The "Untitled-Message" screen appears.

Click the "Message" tab on the ribbon.

Click the arrow for the "Signature" button in the "Include" group. A list of saved signatures and other options appears.

Click the "Signatures" option from the drop list, and the "Signatures and Stationery" dialog window opens, then the "E-mail Signature" tab sheet appears.

Click the "New" button under the "Select signature to edit" text box, then the "New Signature" dialog box opens.

Type a name for your signature in the text box. For example, "Linked." Click "OK," then the "New Signature" dialog box closes.

Type your email signature in the "Edit signature" text box, and keep this dialog window open.
Copy the LinkedIn URL Link

Open the Web browser.

Log in to your LinkedIn account.

Click on your name's link, and your profile appears.

Right-click your profile's URL in the "Public Profile" section, and a short list of commands appears.

Click "Copy Link Location." Your personal LinkedIn profile URL is ready to insert in Outlook.
Paste the LinkedIn URL to the Outlook Signature

Go to the "Signatures and Stationery" dialog window in Outlook.

Click and drag to highlight the text that will contain the hyperlink in the Outlook "Edit Signature" text box.

Click the "Hyperlink" button above the text box., and te "Hyperlink button displays a chain link and our earth. The "Edit Hyperlink" dialog window appears.

Click the "Existing File or Web Page" button in the "Link to" column.

Click the "Browsed Pages" button., and the "Address" text box should be clear.

Right-click the text box for "Address." A short list of commands appears, including "Paste."

Paste the copied URL link into the "Address" text box.

Click "OK." The "Edit Hyperlink" dialog window closes. The embedded hyperlink appears in your e-signature in the "Signatures and Stationery" dialog window.

Click "OK." The "Signatures and Stationery" dialog window closes. The "LinkedIn" signature appears in the "Signature" drop list on the ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
Edit the signature in Outlook by selecting the options that change the font, color, alignment and other effects.
To insert you signature in the Outlook message screen, click the "Signature" button in the "Message" tab, then select the name of the signature from the list.
