How to Make a Clip Longer in Pinnacle
Pinnacle is the manufacturer of the Studio video editing suite. This program allows you to edit video clips with titles, transitions and effects. Once a clip is in your timeline, you can change the length of it make it longer or shorter to best fit the sequence you are editing.

Start up Pinnacle Studio and load your project.

Add a clip to your timeline by dragging and dropping it from the library window.

Hold the mouse pointer over the front or end of the clip, whichever you want to extend, until the clip trimmer icon appears. This icon looks like an arrow pointing toward a square bracket.

Click and hold with your mouse as you drag the clip outward. This will extend the duration of the clip. You can also slide the clip inward to trim it.

Tips & Warnings
If you make a mistake, you can also undo your previous action by pressing "Ctrl" and "Z" or selecting "Undo" from the Edit menu.
