Black stains on tile and the grout between the tiles are probably caused from mold or mildew build-up. Mold and mildew is common in bathrooms around the world due to the warmth and humidity of such rooms. As long as you don't have colored grout you can use a solution of bleach to clean the black stains on your tile. The bleach will also kill the mildew and mold spores on the tile as well.   • Bleach
  • Spray bottle

Instructions

      Fill the spray bottle with a one-to-one ratio of water and bleach. Shake the bottle to mix well.

      Ventilate the room by opening a window or turning on a fan.

      Spray the black stained area and let it sit for about 30 minutes, then spray it again.

      Wet a cloth with warm water and wipe up the bleach mixture from the tile to remove the black stains completely. Rinse the area well to remove all the bleach.
