Instructions

    • 1

Flip the circuit breaker at the main fuse box that provides power to the Jacuzzi's master control panel. Turn the tubs power switch to "Off." Open the control panel lid on the side of the tub and flip the master power switch to "Off."

    • 2

Open the side compartment on the tub that houses the water valves. Loosen the two valves inside the compartment by turning them counterclockwise with pliers. Rotate each valve counterclockwise until you feel resistance.

    • 3

Drain the Jacuzzi by releasing the water through the exhaust house, after removing the plug. Let the water completely drain out of the tub before continuing.

    • 4

Wipe the inside of the tub where the jet compartment that is cracked is located, using a soft cloth. Remove the screws from the side of the compartment cover with a Phillips screwdriver or Torx screwdriver, depending on the make of the Jacuzzi. Remove the cover and place it aside. Remove the rubber gasket from inside the compartment and place it aside.

    • 5

Place the jaws of an adjustable wrench around the cracked flange. Rotate the flange counterclockwise to separate it from the pipe inside the tub. Unscrew the jet from the front of the flange. Dispose of the cracked flange.

    • 6

Screw the jet onto a replacement flange. Screw the flange onto the pipe inside the compartment. Tighten the flange on the pipe with the adjustable wrench. Replace the rubber gasket inside the compartment. Place the cover back on and reattach the screws.

    • 7

Plug the exhaust hose. Rotate both of the valves clockwise until you feel resistance. Close the compartment. Flip the master power switch back to "On" and close the lid. Flip the circuit breaker at the fuse box back to its normal position.

Tips & Warnings

  • Tape the circuit breaker fuse box closed with strips of duct tape to keep people from accessing it while you are working. If there is a lock on the box, lock it. If there is a door leading to the fuse box, lock the door.

  • Only use authorized parts to replace those being used in a Jacuzzi.
