How to Become a Church Ambassador
Some of the reasons you may get involved in your church is to help people, and to tell them about your church and its beliefs. Becoming a church ambassador gives you the chance to serve your church, as well as your local community. Church ambassadors are representatives for their churches. 1
Study the ministry opportunities available through your church. Churches provide opportunities for you to reach out to church families and your local community through ministry opportunities.
-
2
Ask your pastor or ministry coordinator which ministry has the greatest need. Serving where your church has a need for volunteers can help maximize the church's ability to help members of the church and community.

3
Match the church's needs with your skills and talents to choose a ministry opportunity. Using your best attributes to serve the church can ensure you are able to do what is needed in the ministry. It can also provide satisfaction and enjoyment in your role as a church ambassador.
-
4
Take any training needed to become a church ambassador at your church. Depending on your ministry, you may need specialized training or certification. For example, if you work in the nursery during worship services, you may need to train in first aid procedures.
-
5
Study general information about your church including teachings, staff, service times and what the church has to offer members. When you meet new people through the ministry, they may have questions about your church. Knowing your church well can help you answer questions about it, and encourage people to visit for a service.
