How to Clean Crayon From a Wall
What is it about toddlers and crayons and walls? Instead of sharing those colorful thoughts of yours with the doodling toddler, do something really off-the-wall: Get little Sam or Susie to help you make the colorful wax disappear.

- Sponge
- Towel
- White Cloth
- Baking Soda
- Plastic Spoon Or Spatula
- Multipurpose Lubricating Oil

Gently scrape away the wax with a plastic spoon or spatula.

Sprinkle baking soda on a damp white cloth.

Give the cloth to one of your tots and have him rub the marks off.

Dampen a sponge for the other one and have her rinse clean the residue.

Really stubborn marks may require Mom or Dad to spray on a very grown-up product: WD-40 or other multipurpose lubricating oil.

Wipe the wall clean with a damp towel.

Buy washable crayons.
Pencil marks can be removed with an artist's gum eraser (available at most art supply stores).

De-solv-it worked great on getting crayons off the fridge and walls. I think limonene, derived from citrus, is the active ingredient. -

Just used a product called Krud Kutter and it worked wonderfully! Does not remove the paint. For textured walls, I recommend removing the remaining crayon with a soft-bristle toothbrush. -

The dryer sheet and lotion worked great. No damage to the walls. Using a fragrant lotion makes the house smell Spring fresh too.
