Be sure you still have gas in tank.

Check that propane tank valve is open.

Straighten kinks or sharp turns in hose.

Check venturi tubes frequently. Spiders like to build nests in them. Slip tubes off gas lines and clean with pipe cleaner or small bottlebrush. Wash with soapy water if needed.

Check that orifices are clear. Remove and clean them gently with small brush or stiff wire. Do not enlarge their holes.

Make sure there are no obstructions in gas line. Close gas valve and remove hose. Clear out any residue.

Check that electrode is aligned and has proper amount of gap. Make sure there are no cracks in the ceramic.

Adjust air shutters or venturi tubes.

Test gas tank fittings for leaks. Mix 1 tbsp. dishwashing liquid and 1 cup (8 fl oz/250 ml) water. Slowly open propane tank valve, keeping grill's gas valve closed. Spray soapy water over all fittings and hoses. Bubbles indicate a leak. Turn off gas and tighten or replace leaking parts.

Clear venturi tubes and orifices as above. Make sure they're properly aligned.

Check that control knobs are locking and unlocking properly. The knob's spring-lock mechanism and valve stem need to be properly aligned for control of gas flow. Replace them if necessary.

A cold grill may be the cause. Let it heat up on high setting for 5 minutes before turning to low.

Adjust shutters or venturi tubes for better combustion.

Increase low flame setting according to manufacturer's instructions.

Adjust air shutter.

Check for spider webs in the venturi tubes. Clean them as above.

See if there are seasonings or salt on the burners. Wash them with soapy water.

Check for oil film on burners. Operate grill on high setting for 10 minutes to burn it away.
