Great Britain's Labour Party began in 1900 and was supported by trade unions, socialists, Marxists, social democrats and other left-leaning groups. The current Labour prime minister, Tony Blair, has taken steps to modernize the party.

Step1
Accept that education is the country's No. 1 priority.
Step2
Believe that industry and government must work together.
Step3
Agree with the Blair motto that it is necessary to be "tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime."
Step4
Support a multilevel system of taxation, based on income, with lower initial percentages a future goal.
Step5
Understand that Britain will work to be a successful member of the European Union, but will retain its vote on national matters.

on 11/22/2005 Labour supporters are extremely into equality. They are more likely to be politically correct than right wing parties.
