Tories are also known as conservatives and are members of the Conservative Party. The political ancestors of today's British Tories were the Loyalists, who supported King George III during the American Revolution. In recent years Margaret Thatcher and John Major have been Tory prime ministers.

Step1
Promote free enterprise by allowing little government interference in business.
Step2
Make law and order issues a priority, including being tough on juvenile crime.
Step3
Work against Britain becoming part of a federal European state. Prefer instead to form a partnership with other European Union nations.
Step4
Agree with a basic rate of income tax for all taxpayers, regardless of income.
Step5
Aim for the abolishment of capital gains taxes and inheritance taxes.
Step6
Support the continuation of the monarchy.
