How to Use Collages to Make Holiday Cards

• Blank Cards
• Comics
• Greeting Cards
• Old Cards
• Clear Contact Paper
• Glue Sticks
• Scissors
• Scissors

• Construction Paper
• Envelopes
• Watercolor Paper

1. Purchase 5 by 7-inch card blanks or 10 by 14-inch sheets of card stock, medium-weight watercolor paper, or construction paper to use as your card base.

2. Purchase envelopes to fit or make your own.

3. Fold card paper lengthwise so it measurers 5 by 14 inches and cut in half - making two 5 by 7-inch cards.

4. Use old cards, magazines, comics or anything with bright pictures as cutouts.

5. Glue shapes to card, overlapping pieces to give your card a 3-D effect.

6. Cover collage with clear contact paper.

7. Trim edges.
